O2-Oxygen
Introduction:
It is a reactive element that is found in water, in most rocks and minerals, and in numerous organic compounds. It is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, diatomic gas constituting 21% of the atmosphere. It is essential for aerobic respiration and almost all combustion and is widely used in industry.
Application:
Common uses of oxygen include production of steel, plastics and textiles, brazing, welding and cutting of steels and other metals, rocket propellant, oxygen therapy, and life support systems in aircraft, submarines, spaceflight and diving.
Common applications include:
◆ Steel fabrications industry “Cutting, Welding & Brazing”
◆ Oxidation and fermentation industry
◆ Water treatment
◆ Breathing mixtures for divers
Supply options:
◆ Cylinders
◆ Dewars/ISO tanks
